Objective and subjective barriers to the effective pediatric iron deficiency anemia control: results of questionnaire assessment of pediatricians and parents

Background. Iron deficiency anemia (IDA) remains a pressing pediatric issue to date. Despite the availability of clinical guidelines and other publications that highlight objective causes for lack effectiveness treatment prevention IDA in children, subjective reasons are unrenowned. Objective. The aim study is evaluate health beliefs pediatricians parents on problem children investigation into inadequate control iron conditions childhood. Materials methods . In September 2022, single-step parallel survey was conducted by random sampling technique using original questionnaires. questions were formulated five topics related common understanding term “anemia”; priority reference sources; diagnosis medical institutions (MI); position children.
